In the 10th Century we first see the introduction of glass painting in churches and the other religious places.

During the Renaissance it became fashionable and the 14th & 15th century glass painting were associated with Venice and the island of Murano.

During the 18th and 19th century glass painting could be seen as “Art de la Table”. That is painted table glasses and other items used as house decorations.

We now see a revival of this wonderful way of decorating glass.

I personally have always been an admirer of the stained glass seen in churches and have spent long hours standing before them in awe and fascination and with a lot of excitement and perturbation .

I have lanced myself into glass painting but still having great respect and admiration of the “old works”.

I first started glass painting helping to paint little bottles used as wedding souvenirs, after that I ventures further.

I would now like to introduce you to my work.

On this web site you will discover glass ware used as tableware, sun-catchers, vases, mirrors and candle holders. Most are original ideas and have been inspired often by doing research on hold books and the “art nouveau” period.

Hope that you will join in my venture of discovering and creating more original works.

Enjoy the visit.
